Submission Guidelines

We welcome submissions of poetry, short stories, black & white illustration and suggestions for critical essays. You are asked to submit :

1) poems - maximum 6 x 40 lines or equivalent longer pieces

2) prose - maximum around 2500 words including extracts from longer works

3) suggestions for critical essays - maximum 2500 words

4) artwork - maximum 6 pieces - suitable for reproduction in black & white

Other guidelines :

1) You should also include 50 word maximum biography

2) Send submission by e-mail (preferred) in MS Word or Rich Text Format, images as jpeg   files, to vivien@freeola.com

3) Send submissions by post to Vivien Jones, SOUTHLIGHT, 5 Lakeview, Powfoot, Annan. DG12 5PG, Dumfries & Galloway,Scotland with an SAE for return of work.

4) Work should be sent on A4 paper in 12 point font
